This year the WHO are calling on the international community to confront the inequities that drive AIDS, and to enhance efforts to reach those people who are currently not receiving essential HIV services. HIV still remains a global public health issue, and during this pandemic, COVID has increased existing inequities making the lives of those with HIV/AIDS even more challenging.
