We were so excited to be part of the Southdale Parade this past weekend. With loud holiday music and Santa we were able to greet 80 households and 170-200 kids with their parents as they stayed in their backyards and we walked and sometime danced around the neighborhood practicing our social distancing. Health Zone gave 80 wrapped bags (a bottle of 260 tablets of vitamin D, candy canes, holiday notebook, December newsletter, kindness calendar and holiday greetings).
It was great to be able to find a fun/safe way to put some happiness into the neighboring households and also a big thank you to our Community Health Promoter, Tagreed who helped make this a big success!
