Administrative Lead

Gail comes to Health Zone with a background in banking, real estate and 12 years as executive director in the non-profit sector, as a business consultant and project manager.  She has experience in program creation, administration processes, strategic re-engineering and change management projects.  As an effective leader she believes strongly in the power of collaboration, teamwork and collective passion, Gail is excited to represent and help lead this amazing team of health care providers through the OHT Systems Transformational process.  


Nurse Practitioner

Maureen holds a Master of Nursing degree from Athabasca University. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 14 years and is a graduate of Western’s Baccalaureate of Nursing Degree program, 1997. Maureen has earned certificates in Health Promotion and Education from Western University, Clinical Leadership in Nursing from London Health Sciences Centre, Stanford University Chronic Disease Self Management, Breast Feeding from Mohawk College, Medical Cannabis for Nurse Practitioners, Advancing Practice, and Suboxone Prescribing Indivior Canada. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Maureen worked as a Public Health Nurse, a General Surgery/Transplantation nurse, and a Nursing Educator at Fanshawe College. Maureen has a passion working with individuals and families to increase their capacity for self management and to enhance overall wellness.


Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Lead

Robyn joined Health Zone as a Nurse Practitioner in August 2019. Prior to this she worked at the Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic in Peterborough. She graduated in August of 2017 from the Masters of Nursing & Nurse Practitioner program at Athabasca University. She previously worked as an RN for 12 years, and Clinical Nurse Specialist for 1 year in Obstetrics at LHSC. Robyn has an interest in health promotion, as well as women’s health and pediatrics.  Robyn enjoys spending time being physically active outside, and volunteers as a Nurse Practitioner at a girls camp in the summer.


Nurse Practitioner

Will Haas graduated from Western's BScN Nursing program in 2016 and from Western's Primary Healthcare Nurse Practitioner Program in 2019. Before becoming an NP, he worked in various settings as an RN, including long-term care, inpatient pediatrics, adult acute medicine, and palliative care. He joined the Healthzone Nurse Practicioner-Led Clinic in 2020 and is excited to be back in a primary care setting where he can get to know his patients and work to support their health and wellbeing in meaningful ways. Prior to becoming a nurse, Will enjoyed a career as a professional musician, recording engineer, and owner of a recording studio. Will continues to enjoy music in his spare time, along with staying active outdoors with his spouse, two kids, and variety of four-legged critter-pets.


Nurse Practitioner

Shelby recently completed her Masters of Nursing and Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner certificate at Western University. In 2015, Shelby completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Nipissing University and has spent most of her nursing career at Victoria hospital here in London, initially in the inpatient adult mental health unit then the orthopedics/trauma floor. Shelby has a passion for healthy living and physical activity. She loves spending time outdoors and with her animals.


Registered Nurse 

Shannon graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in 2004, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2007. As a transplant from the GTA, Shannon found London to be the perfect compromise between big- and small-city living, so upon graduation, she officially made London her “home”.  As a Registered Nurse, Shannon has had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of healthcare settings. From 2007 to 2009, Shannon worked as an RN in the General Surgery Unit at University Hospital. In 2009, Shannon transitioned to a role as RN at Telehealth Ontario. From 2010 to 2019, Shannon worked as an RN in a busy dermatology office/clinical research facility.  Shannon happily joined Health Zone in December 2019. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and tackling DIY projects. 


Registered Nurse

Natalie graduated from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at Western University in 2017. Natalie has been with the clinic since 2018, in office she is available to complete phlebotomy, cryotherapy treatments, minor office procedures, immunizations and chronic disease follow up in coordination with the Nurse Practitioners. Additionally Natalie is available to clients who are interested in enrolling in the STOP program for smoking cessation. 


Registered Social Worker/Clinical Coordinator of Social Work and Mental Health Services 

Heather obtained her Bachelors of Social Work from Kings University College UWO in 2004 and holds her Masters Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2007. Heather has an extensive background in the field of Mental Health and specializes in the area of Trauma and Complex PTSD. Heather has obtained numerous certifications including Eye Movement De- Sensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma informed yoga. 


Registered Social Worker

Scott completed his Master of Social Work degree from Lakehead University in 2014 and has a background working in community mental health.  Scott’s focus is to help create a collaborative process when working with people towards their mental health recovery.   Scott works from a strengths-based perspective to assist individuals to overcome adversity and life challenges. In his free time, Scott enjoys running, hiking and practicing meditation.     


Community Health Promotor

Jessica completed her Master of Science in Public Health degree at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK, in 2016. However, she has been working for non-profits and NGO’s in the public health sphere since 2013. Jess has developed health promotion strategies and public health projects in many low-income countries with the aim of increasing health and gender equity. When not working she enjoys travelling, reading, spending time in nature and visiting with friends / family.


Community Health Worker 

Tagreed is very passionate about community work and quality health care.  After completing her master’s degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences –specialized in Health Promotion from Western University, Tagreed worked as a group facilitator serving women and families. Gaining valuable experience and insights she was then a youth worker where she enjoyed working with youth of all backgrounds and ages. Combining a passion for community, healthy living and health promotion led to a community heath worker position at Health Zone Nurse Practitioner –Led Clinic. In her free time, Tagreed loves and enjoys baking, long hikes in the autumn, family and friends, especially her husband and daughter. 


Respiratory Therapist

Amy graduated from the Registered Respiratory Therapist Program at Fanshawe College in 2016.  She previously worked in home oxygen and CPAP therapy until she joined the Health Zone Team in 2019.  As a Respiratory Therapist Amy conducts testing to measure lung function and provides education to clients about how to manage asthma, COPD and other chronic lung diseases.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.  


Medical Office Administrator

Tammy joined the Health Zone team as a Medical Office Assistant in 2016. She brought with her 6 years of experience working as a Personal Support Worker in long term care and the community of Middlesex and West Elgin. She spent three years leading an adult day program offering activities in the support of individual mental and physical well being. Tammy is currently an active participant of the Health Zone's Quality Improvement Plan Committee and in 2019 she transitioned into her new role as Medical Office Administrator. When not at work, Tammy enjoys creating crafts and keepsakes for family and friends, singing and spending quality time with her cat Joshua,


Medical Office Assistant 

Amanda completed her Medical Office Assistant diploma at Medix College in 2005. She has worked at the London Regional Cancer Program, Pediatric Oncology, Sleep Medicine and was also the Program Administrator for Respirology.  She also has certificates in Health Records Management, Hospital Ward Clerk and Computer Application Support. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, reading, camping and playing volleyball and baseball in her spare time.


Medical Office Assistant

Deb comes to us with a Human Resources Management Certificate from Fanshawe College in 2011 and an RMT Certificate in 2014 from D’arcy Lane Institute. She has many years experience working in various recruitment and administrative roles with the Victorian Order of Nurses,  London Health Sciences Center as well as Chiropractic and Physiotherapy clinic settings . She joined Health Zone in 2020. In her spare time she likes being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
